Goya yes please!!!

Bzzagent gave me the opportunity to test some Goya products for free!! I was familiar with the Goya brand prior to receiving  my Bzzkit but the only product I had ever used was Goya kidney beans. The kit came with three items; 1 box of Goya rice, 1 can of Goya Low Sodium Black Beans, and 1 bottle of Goya Adobo Seasoning.  The kit also contained coupons to share for a variety of Goya products. I was excited to try each of the products. I used the seasoning first on some chicken strips I was baking. It tasted great. The seasoning offers a great blend of seasoning without having to take out a bunch of individual spices. I have become addicted to the Adobo seasoning, I use it on everything. A bunch of my family members also use Adobo seasoning often I just never knew. One of them should have let me in on this little secret a while ago!!

I decided that I would make rice and beans with my families favorite Mexican food empanadas. I made the rice according to the package and it came out great. I sautéed it with red and orange peppers, onions, and minced garlic. I drained the beans and added them to the rice. I used a little Adobo seasoning and heated thoroughly. I used the Adobo to season the beef for the empanadas too. The rice and beans came out great. My kids can be picky eater but they ate it no problem (my son did pick all the onions and peppers out of the rice). The empanadas tasted better than usual with the Adobo seasoning. Goya has become a regular brand in our household now!! 

I have made this rice and beans dish for family members as well and everyone just loves it!!

Meatless choices from MorningStar Farms

Growing up, my mom was a vegetarian so I never really ate a lot of meat. I eat meat now but red meat is not a favorite of mine. Bzz Agent chose me to try a Morningstar Farms Products as part of a newBzz campaign. I was so excited to get the opportunity. The Bzz kit was great when it arrived not did it have the free coupon but it had some dollar off coupons to share. There were so many choices to pick from when I got to the grocery store. I decided to get the veggie burgers and the MorningStar Farms Grillers Recipe Crumbles. I was going to try the burgers and use the crumbles for a family dinner. The crumbles were a meatless ground beef type product. 

I tasted tasted the burgers the day for lunch. I absolutely loved them. It had a great taste and with a tomato slice and some ketchup made a tasty lunch. I have actually started buying them every time I grocery shop. 

A few days later I made the family tacos using the recipe crumbles. My kids get so excited for tacos. Everyone sat down and dug in. My son was the first to comment. He thought it tasted weird and my fiancé knew right away it wasn't beef. My daughter did not mind and ate them. I thought it tasted fine. Everyone ate but my son who is usually a big eater only ate a little. So meatless may not be for my family but I love it! I have tried so many different types of veggie burgers because of this Bzz campaign. They are good for me and taste great!! 

Covergirl's Blast Flipstick Lip Color Two Colors Lots of Possibilities!!!

Bzzagent chose me to try out Covergirl's Blast Flipstick Lip Color! I was excited to receive it in the mail. I received 3 different ones each having two different colors that can be worn alone ( one was shimmery and one was a matte) or combined for an awesome new effect. So really each one had at lead three possibilities!! I received vixen, stunner, and minx. When I first looked at them I was not sure if I would be able to use them some did not really seem my color. Since there are so many ways to wear each one I found a way to use all three! I did however end up giving the stunner one to my friend because it looked so much better on her lol! I don't wear lipstick often but at least I can look amazing now when I do! I love the variety of shades they offer. They are also not a bad price when you are getting so many different possibilities (they retail for $8.49). The only thing I did not really like was how dry my lips felt after it was applied but this was easily remedied with an overcoat of clear lipgloss.

I was given the opportunity to test four products from the Burt’s Bees Intense Hydration line by Bzzagent. I was so excited to try this line of products because I have really dry and itchy skin in the colder months and winter was approaching. The first product I tested was the Intense Hydration Cream Cleanser. My Fiancé and I decided to try it together since he also gets very dry skin in the winter. It was a little different using a cleanser that did not foam up but it felt nice on my skin. It left my skin feeling a little tingly. I think I must have got it a little too close to my eyes the first time but I learned my lesson. I loved the way my skin felt after it was washed. The cream cleanser left my skin soft and hydrated no tight dryness.
The second product I tried was the Intense Hydration Day Lotion. It was a great lotion light and not greasy; it left my skin feeling soft and ready for the day. The only thing I did not like was that it had no sun protection. I prefer to wear a lotion with and SPF so that I can protect myself from the sun every day.
The next product I tried was the Intense Hydration Night Cream. I had never used a night cream before I was always afraid of getting pimples in my sleep. The first time I applied the night cream I wiped it felt greasy so I washed it off. A few days later I tried it again. It felt greasy at first but quickly was absorbed into my thirsty skin with no greasy feeling. When I woke up in the morning my skin felt great and so soft.
The last product I tried was the Intense Hydration Mask. I love masks and this was not like any I had tried before. It was more like a thick lotion you put on your skin and leave there for a while. I was not fond of wiping it off and then rubbing the rest into my skin. I found that I like it better when I wash it off with the cream cleanser. It leaves my face extremely soft and hydrated but I only use it about once a week.

Overall, I love the Intense Hydration Line from Burt’s Bees. It is helping me to combat that awful dry winter skin I always get. I will continue to use the Cream cleanser and night cream!

Great Ideals, Great coffee!!!!

I received three sample boxes of Green Mountain Fair Trade Coffee each containing four k-cups (Vermont Country Blend, Colombian Fair Trade Select, Sumatran Reserve, and Wild Mountain Blueberry) from bzzagent.com to test.  They included a bold coffee, a lighter coffee, and a flavored coffee to try and reach everyone’s taste. I personally fell in love with the Wild Blueberry Coffee and now cannot live without it. I shared the coffee at my son’s birthday party too and my family loved the Sumatran Reserve for its bold, strong taste.  I normally drink Dunkin Donuts French vanilla or Blueberry coffee. I love that I now can drink blue berry coffee from Green Mountain that is also helping to make a difference in the coffee industry. I can honestly say that before this campaign I did not really know what fair trade meant.  I have learned how fair trade helps coffee farmers to get a fair price for their coffee beans so they don’t have to cut corners and sacrifice quality. Fair trade improves working conditions, helps to protect the environment, and supports community development.   I had never thought about how the coffee industry impacted anything and now I am proud to buy certified fair trade coffee and help support coffee farmers and their communities.  I love having people try my blueberry coffee now because if they like it I can tell them all about fair trade and why buying that coffee helps make a difference!

Great Smell + Great look = Glade Expressions

Bzzagent sent me coupons to try a Glade Expressions^® Fragrance Mist and Oil Diffuser for free. When I went to pick them out I was a little put off that there were only four fragrances to choose from (Cotton & Italian Mandarin, Pineapple & Mangosteen, Lavender & Juniper Berry, and Fuji Apple & Cardamom Spice). I looked over each one before deciding on Pineapple & Mangosteen.  I decided to put each of them in a bathroom in my house. When I took the fragrance mist out of the package it looked nice enough and I liked how the bottle fit into the cover. I placed it on the back of the toilet to be used.  I loved the way pineapple & mangosteen smelled what a great blend of fragrance and it was just strong enough to help cover up any bad bathroom odors! I opened the oil diffuser next. I was surprised at how nice it looked. It was easy to put together and looked great. I placed this one in my upstairs bathroom.  It did not take me long to realize that the oil diffuser was too powerful to be kept in a small room like the bathroom. The smell was too overwhelming when kept in a small space. I moved the oil diffuser to the living room. It fit right in with my décor and looked great on the coffee table. It really worked to deliver fragrance to the large room it was in. I really impressed at how great my house smelled and the oil diffuser lasted about four weeks! I have already purchased 2 more!

The Original™ Dish Drying Mat

 I received  The Original™ Dish Drying Mat in My naturals Voxbox from Influenster to test. At first I was not sure how much use it would actually get since I use my dishwasher on a regular basis. I do wash my pots and pans and delicate dishware by hand and have a small dish drainer on my counter. The dish drainer is plastic and gets gross very easily, I am always cleaning it or putting it in the dishwasher. I decided to try the Dish Drying Mat instead and I love it. It absorbs all the water so my counter does not get wet at all. It is easy to clean and to store. I do not have to have a dish drainer on my counter all the time. I can roll up the mat when I am not using it and give myself more counter space. I love the way it hold so much water. I went out and bought on of the pet dish ones. My dog is always splashing water out of the dish onto the kitchen floor, well not anymore! The Original™ Dish Drying Mat is amazing and comes in different varieties, different sizes, and even different colors. They are a kitchen must have!! I have already gotten a few to give as Christmas presents. It was something I did not think I wanted but now know I cannot live without!
